Favorite

Apparently, "favorite" is superlative as an adjective, but merely descriptive as a noun. Definitions below:

fa·vor·ite/ˈfāv(ə)rit/


Adjective:
Preferred before all others of the same kind.
Noun:
A person or thing that is especially well liked.
